Members network at monthly breakfast meetings on the second Friday of each month and receive a weekly e-mail newsletter. The Chamber also coordinates business showcases, after-hours pizza parties, welcome wagon packets, group advertising efforts, and other promotions. The chamber’s 38-page guide connects visitors with Bluffton businesses.

    Our Business IS Small Business

    The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Rhodes State College provides individual, confidential counseling and training programs for individuals with new or existing small businesses. We operate in cooperation with the US Small Business Administration, the Ohio Department of Development and Rhodes State College. Our service area includes Allen, Auglaize, Hancock, Hardin, Mercer, Paulding, Putnam and Van Wert counties.

    The University of Findlay's College of Business serves as a resource in the Findlay/Hancock County area. Along with our partners, we provide business plans and marketing plans, marketing research, and accounting assistance along with a variety of other services to small business owners. This volunteer service is important to our students: sharing knowledge and skills engages them in the community.
